What I do
I work across three key areas: research, learning and outreach.
Research
I investigate what makes businesses successful in international markets, particularly in digitised settings. I do this primarily through my role as a doctoral researcher and team member on international research projects.
Learning
I help entrepreneurs, business owners, and students acquire the international business knowledge they need for success. I do this as an experienced presenter, facilitator and academic tutor.
Outreach
I share valuable insight, skills, and experience within and across distinctly different communities, cultures and countries. I currently do this through speaking and writing for industry and practitioner audiences.
Technical translator, international marketing director, entrepreneur…
These are some of the positions I’ve held previously in my multinational professional career.
Fun fact: I’ve also worked as an automotive paintshop worker, a fishmonger, a German technical support agent, and a singer in a 15th-century Irish castle. (Feel free to use this as an icebreaker when you meet me.)
